Home Guard Bharti Gujarat Recruitment Details:
In the State of Gujarat, 2,8 Honorary Home Guard Members will be recruited in 4, 6 Commissionerate areas and 22 (2) District Units / Areas / Divisions. The recruitment process for the recruitment of these Honorary Home Guard members will be conducted from the office of the concerned District Commandant. Interested candidates can contact to their area unit office or district office for recruitment. These Home Guard members are to be recruited as honorary members. In which if needed, the government will be called on necessary duty. When called on duty, they will be entitled to a duty allowance of Rs.300/- and laundry allowance of Rs.5/- per day as honorary pay as per the prevailing rules of the Government. This recruitment is not to be done as a permanent employee. But the Honorary Home Guard members are to be recruited in the Honorary Organization. Which will not entitle any entitlement as a permanent employee.
Qualification of male candidate for recruitment in Home Guard Force:-
- Must be a citizen of India.
- Must have STD-10 pass or above educational qualification.
- Age should be between 18 to 30 years.
- Weight must be at least 50 kg.
- Height of at least 162 cm.
- The chest should be at least 79 cm, should be able to inflate the chest as much as 5 cm
- The applicant must not have committed any criminal act. and shall not be punished by any court established by law in India.
- Applicant should not be associated with any communal organization and should not have communal background.
Eligibility of Female Candidates for Recruitment in Home Guard Force:-
- Minimum weight should be 50 kg in case of female candidate.
- The height of female candidates should be at least 150 cms.
- Proposed Points No. 3 (a) A, B, C, G and H remain unchanged in the merit of the recommendation.
Home Guards Bharti Gujarat Recruitment Exam Details:-
The committee will have to conduct physical test of the recruited candidates during the recruitment fair. Which will be like this. In addition, every candidate has to qualify the prescribed physical efficiency test.
for male candidates
- 1200 meters race completed in 05 minutes
- Candidates who qualify the running test will be eligible to get 75 marks.
- Note :- (1) If the number of candidates is more, the committee may decide to take 100 meter scanning test.
for female candidates
- 1200 meters run is completed in 05 minutes 30 seconds
- Candidates who qualify the running test will be eligible to get 75 marks.
Standard of selection according to which candidates are to be given preference
- The above physical test will be of 7 (seventy) marks. Those who complete the examination in the stipulated time in the field examination shall be entitled to obtain full (seventy) marks. Also, if citizens with the following qualifications are willing to serve in the Home Guard, they should be given preference.
- NCC Candidates having examination certificate will be eligible to obtain additional 05 (five) marks.
- If certificate/medal is obtained in any sports competition at State level/National level/University level, then they will be eligible to get additional 05 (five) marks.
- If you have a license of Heavy Motor Vehicle or Light Motor Vehicle and have driving experience of at least two years and a certificate in that regard, you will get additional 05 (five) marks.
- If you have passed “CCC” exam with computer knowledge, you will get additional 05 (five) marks.
- Additional 05 (Five) marks will be available if you have certificate from government recognized institute in technical skill like Yoga, Mechanical, Electrical, Office Automation, Automobile and Nursing trade knowledge.
- The physical test will carry 2 (seventy) marks for each of the special abilities (i) to (v) above and a total of 3 marks. There will be a total exam of 100 marks.
